Morgan Stanley’s no laptop policy is abnormal. It’s a typical old time thinking. A lot of supporters of the policy are saying that “you should have your own laptop, should company provide you suits to go to office, if you want free computing go to office “, are the typical service company folks . Those coming from tech companies cannot relate to this crappy policy . And mind you it is not about security, it’s about expense saving .

Is anyone’s company offering to pay portion of your rent as home office expense? Especially if company is no longer paying for commercial office space?

How hard is everyone pushing their corporate clients to authorize nonresident assignees whose only 2020 US compensation was the value of their 2019 tax preparation?
My clients are pushing back on it this year, and I can't say I blame them. If I were in their shoes, I'd rather take the risk of not filing than the expense of filing again. I had call with the HR for he position based out of Mumbai everything in interview and they are ready to share the offer. however, I quoted for 10 lakhs and they said for fixed pay of 8.75.
Although, i checked on Google as well average pay they are giving is 9.7 lakh
So should I accept the offer as per their negotiation or shall positively tell them why 10 lakh is justified?
