Moving to LA for a job, Jan/Fen timing. Office is in Culver City. Currently live in NYC.. Williamsburg specifically. When I get there, I would come into the office 1x a month MAX. Any recommendations for neighborhoods to live in while mostly WFH?

My partner and I already own a car but I don’t drive... yet. So ideally I would to be able to walk to a coffee shop, takeout restaurants, and some shops maybe.

Maybe Los Feliz/Silverlake? Or do I just live in Culver City?

I feel like I have way less energy now that I work from home than I did when I was working 9 hour days at the office. I don't understand...

I started full time at an agency mid pandemic so have never once worked in the office. I find myself working 50+ hour weeks even from home. Everyone who says "I can't wait to be back at the office" - are they really serious? To tack on commute time and public transit anxiety, wake up at the crack of dawn. Will working from the office somehow decrease the work load and increase productivity? Genuinely curious who wants to go back and why.

Companies like Deloitte, futurebridge, pwc, ey research, etc are offering good packages. Some are offering work from home and some are asking to relocate.

Please don't hesitate to relocate. Interviews are annoying but trust me be positive. Don't choose convenience over carrier. It's high time and grab as much you can. Situations are already worsening elsewhere. Grab as much as you can before the wave hits india.

Hi! I have been working in marketing and advertising for ~5 years and recently started exploring the freelance side of things. I started conversations with a small boutique studio about doing Facebook ads for them and they asked what my retainer fee would be to manage them.
