So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?

How much are they paying you - and in what city?

Thanks, SC1. Will that improve my chances of negotiating a higher salary after the year? Do you know what average analyst salary is?
Thanks, SC1 for the insight. On average what's the typical range of raise and bonus increase you've seen YoY?
Thanks, SC1!
Not bad at all, but it's only a 9% increase from what i currently make. I'm probably sounding picky but i was hoping for a bit higher. I guess less hours is a huge pro though, just hoping i can get a decent salary jump down the road when i move from analyst to consultant
