Hi Sharks, I am asked to sign the offer letter. It's kind of an agreement between me and the company for accepting the offer and compensation numbers. Of course It doesn't have statments like I have to join the company on signing this. My question is that 1. If I get a better offer can I go and ask them to revise the offer? 2. There is no rule that says you have to wait until your reiew to ask for a raise. If you can jsutify it now, I say go for it. It sounds like you have taken on a lot more and should be comepnsated for it.
You should ask for it now. By the time annual review comes around, the available $ has largely been spoken for.
Agree with starting the conversation now. If nothing else, you’ve made your point well before that review happens. It will depend on your company whether they’ll give one ahead of review or not, but still worth talking about asap.
Get it at least on the radar now with your manager
