My current CTC is 7 LPA with 3.7 YOE.
I'm currently working as a mainframe developer. I am more interested into DevOps and looking for a career change.
In past 1.5 years i have trying to understand DevOps concepts and tools.
Tried to implement my knowledge in personal projects. Now, i need two quick suggestions 1. If I switch what CTC should I expect? 2. What is your opinion about shifting from mainframe to DevOps. Thanks much.

My manager thinks the best next step for me is to move into management and leadership and has started pushing me to apply for an engineering manager role. They say that I will be a good fit because of my strong technical background paired with the leadership and people skills I display currently.
