Put everything in writing. Start looking for a new job.
Sounds familiar. It’s frustrating when accountability is flexible. Try getting those decisions in writing. He may not want to commit or he may realize it’ll be harder to blame. You can even just send an email summarizing your understanding.
This is common. Sometimes favoritism. Condescending at times.also they might want get rid of you. So in my experience I looked for another job. Gave them notice. Prior. They were upset it wasn't them to be able to fire me. Because I did all that a Manager job had to do. But some people also are intimidated by you. Prior I went to HR many times but they protect their workers. Sad things is look for another job that you feel comfortable, stay away from people if needed, don't express your knowledge so that it becomes hateful for them. You went to school to get ur degree, don't ruin it for people unappreciative .
Also I did record my superior talks, comments and yelling at me .
Depending on what state you are in maybe record him conversations how he acts towards you guys and then send it to corporate HR saying it’s a hostile work environment and maybe just need to do a surprise drop in
Do others find him difficult to work with? If so, is there any chance he will get on a PIP for such behaviour? Enough of a reoccurring trend may result in this.
It can’t hurt to start looking but just a warning, this is the worst job market I’ve ever seen.
Same thing happened to me.
Sorry also have your paper trail of things, situations etc.
Document EVERYTHING!!!
Record your mgr. Get things in writing.
Cover your ass. This company is not the same anymore. Sadly, the last 10 years under Tricia have been awful.
Start looking outside.

Things don’t get better until you make them better. Managers, like the one you describe, don’t usually get easier to deal with. Telling you to do things that end up failing and then blaming you for it is sociopathic behavior.
