I did! My receptiva was negative for endo, however they saw suspected adeno on my u/s. I did lupron for two months because my first transfer failed and the second ended in a chemical. The third one with lupron DR was successful and I’m almost 17 weeks!
My most notable side effect with lupron was hot flashes. Not terrible but manageable. I had a portable fan I carried everywhere with me. 😅
No symptoms. Other than they noticed my uterus looked bulky on the u/s. At first my doctor did not want to go the lupron route she wanted me to try again without it. But I insisted!!
Similar experience. 1st FET didn’t take and they found an endometrioma right before the next ER. Receptivity test was normal but we did 2 months of Lupron. The following FET took but I had a MMC at 9 weeks and now we’re looking at other autoimmune issues. It sounds like some clinics take a kitchen sink approach and others add new protocols in response to failures. Having experienced this and now knowing that having endometriosis is linked to other autoimmune issues, if you haven’t done so already I would talk to your RE about that.
The lupron side effects weren’t terrible - the hot flashes usually come at night so you might use two separate blankets so you’re not waking your partner up. They also say you’re more susceptible to mood swings but I found that was more related to sudden onsets of hunger so just be sure to have snacks on hand. Good luck!
Thanks! I think i will move forward with lupron as my dr suggests
May I ask what is Lupron is used for ? I am 37+ years old based out of Czech, I had 1 fresh transfer and 2 failed FETs. Have one embryo left! :( extremely disappointed. I have small fibroids and was given Ryeqo to treat fibroids. I am also not ovulating it seems so doctor triggered my ovulation and accordingly I had a transfer. My doctor said my hormones were fine , and my endo lining was optimum, yet it failed. Don’t know what’s the cause of the failure. I have 5-6 days of spotting before the heavy period starts which makes my cycle shorter. Has anyone experienced same like me? Want to know what have you done?
Lupron is used in cases of endo or adrnomyosis to suppress the function of the ovaries because otherwise the success rates of FETs is much lower
