My fiance just lied about a painting she drew but actually it was taken from internet when I asked her clearly if she really drew it she was insistent and also added detail like she drew it in mid night as she was missing me, I know it sounds cheezy but I couldn't understand why would she lie about it and then I confronted her, she still didn't say anything but then I had to spill it out completely after which she said sorry and mentioned that she would not do it again. What would you do if you didn’t need money? I have a fair amount coming one day and don’t actually need to work to live a good life (middle / upper-middle class). I work because of this vague notion of “ambition” and because everyone I grew up around is highly competitive and hard driving.
