My friend is about to complete 35 days on the bench at Cognizant. The HR called him on Friday (2 days ago) and asked him to resign by Monday, offering 5 months’ salary as part of the exit. Otherwise, they said they would terminate his employment.

What would be the best approach for him in this situation? Any suggestions?

Exit opportunities from SALT - partnership focus? Starting to get worried that the opportunities are too slim and debating leaving for a federal position (even if at a lower title) to gain experience. Anyone have experience with this? I feel like my only options right now are the same jobs just at different cpa firms.

I applied for a job at Visa and was contacted the same day. A few days later I had a 30-minute screening interview with the hiring manager. I knew I was very early in the process since the job had only been posted for a few days. It's been 3 weeks and I haven't heard back, even after reaching out to the recruiter. Have I been ghosted or is there still hope? Does anyone at Visa have insights? Looks like there are a ton of jobs posted so maybe they are just backed up?
