What is the average salary range for a Senior PM in Boston?

So… 3.5 year relationship came crashing in Jan due to covid depression, work burn out, lockdown etc. We have stayed in contact and recently he has come around to apologizing and considering getting back together. My co's IA dept is very new and my boss has asked me to look into a format for a memo we would write to a process owner to make a process recommendation. Not a formal finding in an audit report but more of a process recommendation. Do other companies have something similar?

I want to make sure where I go I have good opportunities to advance and if needed be marketable to other companies. Can someone give me an overview of what Internal Audit does? Received an offer for IA and currently work in External Audit. Want to know the differences between the two.

Would it be difficult to get a job in IA if most of my experience has been auditing private non-404 asset mgmt funds? I really enjoy process walkthroughs when I have them though. Also, does title matter that much in IA? I’m a manager now, but based on job descriptions it looks like I might have to go for a senior auditor role because audit manager roles generally call for 8+ years from what I’m seeing. Can title be negotiated?
