Newbie here. My J1 is a SE role that is very manageable and permanently remote. I am in the final round of a J2 for another tech role. It seems like it will be manageable and it’s in a very different industry than my J1 so I’m not worried about overlap, but J2 is in the same city I live in. They’re saying it’s remote but not sure how long it’ll last(I will quit if needed). I also made the mistake of putting my J1 on my current resume. Is this too risky? I really like the role for J2.

L1 expecting an L2 offer any day, next summer start. HCOL area and trying to figure out what is reasonable for income. Non-traditional student and new to public though I have work experience at the para and professional level. Previous salary before returning to school was 60k base overtime eligible as an internal accountant. My reviews are all exemplary and my prior experience has been directly noted as a benefit.

Would I be out of line expecting $65k-$70k base?
