Hi, I belong to the corporate bowl but I have snuck in to ask if anyone would be interested in assisting the Ukranian Crisis Legal Aid organisation that has been set up by a Hungarian law firm to pair up refugees and lawyers. The website is https://ukrainelegalaid.org and it was set up by KNP LAW Nagy Koppany Lencs & Partners (who I am not affiliated with). This is all pro bono. Feel free to PM me, especially if you are English qualified!

Your boss want to see how you can initiate change in someone, or file to terminate an employee from the company for not being the right fit.
Why would they take a better SDR away from someone else? Training your SDR is part of the job
Be a mentor. Help him/her learn what you need and how best to approach the customer../
agreed, have you tried talking to the SDR directly about how they can help you/support you?
Your boss have too much faith in you. He believes that you can train and make someone better. Your boss knows that you are the perfect person to deal with someone who needs focus on mentoring.
Sounds like you’re a bad mentor.
Maybe the failure is on your part and not his/hers. You should know better because you are in a better position to judge the situation. Stay on top of it.
Apart from asking your boss to change your SDR. Maybe try different strategies to teach them the ropes first before you give up completely?
