My wife has an offer from Accenture as a Team lead- L9 though the interview was for a application developer role.
CTC 14.5 fixed 27% variable.

She is not comfortable to work as a lead. Is the role provided by Accenture just for a name sake or it might involve actually team lead work?

Anyone have experience between choosing between an Industry position or making the final push (manager/SM level) for partner? How did you finally decide to go one way or the other and do you have any regrets?

I think I want to try someone new, and have an offer, but am having a bit of paralysis in making the move knowing the income/ partner lifestyle that I could be passing up…

Open to any thoughts and advice.

Also, their benefits are not very attractive (e.g., 2 week paternity, 3.5% 401k match, unlimited vaca -- which means you have to take permission and have to feel guilty if you take off longer)
