As long as you’re using open source/non-govt resources, keep looking! Consider FOIA/requests for government info too. Your safety is your priority. If it gets to the point where you’re thinking about moving because of it, communicate with leadership about the issue. They might be able to shed light on if it’s a isolated issue or if your entire neighborhood is going. Plus it doesn’t look great when the news vans show up and your neighbors tell them “yea, he lives next to a cop too.”
Check the clerk of courts for your area. They will have the info you seek online.
So did you ever find out what's up with your neighbor? It never hurts to dig for data, as long as it's public information. Like the other commenter said safety is a priority not just for you but also for your other neighbors.
I think you can dig for more. You are doing it for your own safety. There's nothing wrong if you keep searching.
So what really happened? Have you tried looking it up online? How about making a request to get an info?
