Anybody have insight into ballpark salary range for Director level pay at Microsoft in a non-engineering role? I understand there’s probably varying degrees based upon org/function, as well as location. Just assuming Remote work, what would salary/bonus/stocks look like? Or just TC in general?

Anyone here working at Dreamworks Animation, @disney studios, @cartoon network Dreamworks Animation or Nickelodeon
My 19yo daughter is attending a State school for animation and she’s worried that it’s not a top school for job placement. Her professor pointed out that she’s “too talented” for the school she’s at now. She’s thinking to transfer to a top school in California or FL
I’m looking for creatives working in animation field or related who can provide some mentorship to my daughter.
Spending my Sunday in the office. #busyseasonbreaks
I mean, interview and have the conversation if you get the offer.
Do you like the smaller footprint and the culture of the new place, You couldn’t pay me to work with the dbags I have met from Deloitte
Rising Star
Meaning you would not work at Deloitte?
Employment by will
I just did the exact same thing. I was laid off for a while, took an OK job in industry because I was getting desperate, then got a really great offer at my current firm. Advancement, pay bump, etc.
It felt really bad, but I quit the other job after 4 weeks. In this current environment, you gotta look after yourself because no one else is going to do that for you.
Completely agree you don’t owe employers anything but how did you explain to your new / current firm why you were looking after having only just joined your old firm?
I don’t see how this is an ethical or moral question...
Why couldn’t you leave this boutique firm after just one month? Sure you’ll burn a bridge but if you want be at Deloitte more then why do you care?

You do not owe your employers anything.
You don’t owe anyone anything. This isn’t an ethical or moral question tbh. Interview and see where things go, if you get the offer and like it then leave gracefully. Tell them you found a place where you know you’ll be able to better develop (blah blah blah).
Did you get a written offer from Deloitte, or did you just get an intro call request?
If intro call, have the call. A 30 min intro call will not hurt, and is not unethical at all. If offer, what's the pay and start date situation?
Since it's just an intro call request, don't put yourself through through all this ethical stuff and just interview. If you get an offer, fantastic. But this feels like a lot of angst for something that you don't even have a second interview for.
You’re too nice. ACN fired you just liked that and you still think there is loyalty in this job
Go with Deloitte. One month isn’t even a blip.
You might be getting ahead of yourself, friend. See the first comment
