Anyone from Mindtree banglore??
Hi All,
Persistent Systems is giving 10% variable on gross annual CTC. HR says you would receive minimum 70% of variable pay every month and remaining 30% will credited once a year at the end.
Does anyone has idea on this? Can I believe this and include 70% variable in my take home

1. Own your resume
2. Demonstrates your subject matter in two areas (I.e. CCAR, data analytics, AML or whatever your subject matter is)
3. Use examples how you managed clients, team and overall engagement and how you possibly got an extension or sold more work. How did you do it.
4. A case study. You would have solve a business problem within 10 minutes after hearing an actual problem
5. Highlight if you ran two engagements at once in two diff states
7. Talk about the campaigns, training you have taken or conducted pertains to this jobs.
8. Finally tell the partner you are good in golf and negotiate the salary (I’m joking on this one)
There will be a competency interview to confirm your domain knowledge, and the case study. Make sure you “understand” the question being asked, as most people jump to conclusions and don’t think about what is being asked. All the want to see if your approach and ability to break up a case and start to address it. Don’t fret the right answer, as it’s more important to show how you approach it. The third interview will be with a Partner/MD which is more a casual conversation to determine fit. In all these situations don’t ever lie or wing it... that will be your kill switch. If you don’t know the answer, respond that you don’t know and then give your hypothesis on it. They want to see your ability to think and not always looking for he right answer. Lastly, be yourself and be confident. You’ve made it this far, the finish line is within view. Good luck
Well said D1
Thanks D1 and SC1
Np OP. I went through this three months ago and here I’m at D running the show. Try to answer the case study in a very structured format. You may need to white board it. I solve almost every problems using a standard framework. Most of the case study has data, technology, model, security, governance, documentation component < use these points to frame/structure your idea. Then use your BA hat - to solve the problem, how? break down the current state (system, data, process, Visio) and build from there, create a project plan or work break down structure and prioritize/ sequence it. Again these are basic ideas, may not be relevant to you but it worked for me. These are exact things I used in my interviewed and I did well. Remember the interviewer are looking for that confident tone when you answering your question. Like d1 said, if you don’t know, own it with a smile on your face. It’s all abt how the interviewer feels abt you. It’s not even your knowledge. They already know your tech/Business skills from your resume. Remb client first, exceptional client delivery is what we do as a big 4. Good luck OP. Let us know how it went.
