I applied to the Sr. position but was told it would be another year before a promotion could be offered. Considering current responsibilities, work performance, and personal ambition, I feel comfortable in believing that I should have been considered. I have turned down a Sr. position at a direct competitor to stay. How can I bring this subject back up to my supervisor?

Specialist roles aside, such as digital, when you see someone describing themselves as a “generalist marketer” is this a resume you’d pass on?
