I am 31M married last year and working in analytics space, earning around 25LPA.
While my wife is in a non IT job earning around 10LPA.
I have my H1B visa approved and company is willing to send me onsite in first quarter of next year, I might get ~120K in the US in PA.
My wife is hesitant as she will be on H4 and will have to leave her job and sit idle there. Also will have to leave parents here. Does it make sense financially to move?

H1b/ H4 extensions pending and license is expired! DMV says they don’t renew based on receipt…. What can we do?? It can take months, especially for H4!!

I’ve been in the US for 3 years on L1, now considering switching jobs bc my employer wants me to return to Europe eventually while I’d prefer to stay in the US. Do you fishes have any suggestions on how to find employers who may be willing to put me in the H1B lottery? I know it’s not easy, even though it seems like the lottery registration is only $10.

A HR question I really want to understand. ISRS HR quoted a podcast "The not so great resignation" saying 70% regret leaving and many want to go back to old employer. If this really the case the employee likely left due to higher pay at the new company. If they want to boomerang back they will likely come back at even a higher rate than they left the new company for. So getting double raise when they boomeranged. Isn't it unbeneficial, why not just give employee a 7% raise in the first place?
