Nope!!! Don’t fall for it! I’m former ACN Hr and C1 to M1 will take time.. push it for experienced C or M1.
Also they don’t have much change projects in T&O By the way..! Ask for this as well.
You will struggle with bench if at C.. atleast as M, you can then work with SM’s and MDs
Push for manager. Simple
Apply some where else
6) Confirming Interview - 2 days later, we wont move forward. Decided to go with more qualified Candidates…. Whaaat?! After 9 Months of dragging me along saying you want to move forward and open a position you cant even offer me a C1 or fit me in somewhere?! Not much feedback to improve on and before everyone says move on, some people dont have it so easy to break into consulting and desperate to opportunities force them to chase the efforts. Its just frustrating. EY similar exp. 6 Interviews just to hear: you have too niche experience…
Obviously I had no leverage and was/am desperate to land a foot in the door. As a side note I have 10+ YOE broad cross-functional areas of people, process, tech projects now geared more to change mgmt and MBA with Magna cum laude.
What region?
Westcoast (HCOL i guess)
Thanks that is a very helpful suggestion
Also anyone have some advice on alternative companies in the same +/- tier would be a good WLB/pay with CHM projects are recommendAble as opposed to the more tough companies ACN, D, EY, PWC, Kpmg, wyman Stgy$ .. with less WLB to get in.
