Trust me there's alot of coin in SF. So if you like money you should stay in Salesforce

To clarify though are you saying that Salesforce isn't full-time software development?
DT1 has it right only if people don’t adapt to new technologies. I’ve been a dev for over 20 years and have adapted my skills to what companies are currently looking for. I have focused on how to build systems rather than the tech or language. When my current stack doesn’t fit the use case I find one that does.
I started my career building websites in the 90s and now I am exclusively in the data side building streaming low latency systems.
