I would pick Delta. You will get diamond status and the perks are great! Access to the lounge, status gifts, strong customer service, constant upgrades.
United is top dog, very comfortable with unparalleled customer service.
Except delta miles are worthless :(
Delta. Every time I fly United I get treated like dog shit
You'll get diamond fairly quickly with weekly coast to coast flights
AA
Why JetBlue even an option here?
Flying to Seattle so will have to fly on Sunday nights and then return on redeyes on Thursday.
I’m leaning Delta because they’re the biggest out of LGA/JFK and I’ve had the most positive experience on them compared to AA/JB but SkyTeam kinda sucks compared to OneWorld and StarAlliance. Planning on vacationing mostly to Europe. Is it worth it to pick AA just for OneWorld?
United or Delta, depending on which airport in NYC. Delta for LGA and United for Newark.
I live in Brooklyn so was leaning towards Delta for ease of access to LGA. SM1- does diamond status just come from frequent flying, or does PwC have a special program with them?
If you fly nyc to west coast direct, you can't fly out of LGA FYI. The furthest you can fly out of LGA is Denver (there's a 1500 mile rule and Denver is right over the cusp)
Been doing this with delta for a while and am actually switching to Alaska...TPG insists it's the top program and in any case you won't get diamond for 2019 if you're starting now. Just have to be able to fly out of EWR in the mornings since mo pre check at T7 in JFK. But from brooklyn at 5am it's about the same
PwC 1 what makes you say Delta miles are worthless?
Look at who flies to the locations you want to go to for vacation. Also depends on where on the west coast - number of flights per day can vary a lot by carrier and destination
I think DL or AA would both be fine choices. DL will have more flight options over the Atlantic but AA is pretty solid too. I would not try to pick based on service - there is more variation within each airline than there difference between them.
I would closely at the JFK-SEA schedules for both. Note that AA still codeshares some with Alaska which might be useful, but DL is building a hub in SEA as well
Delta definitely. If you wanna go to Europe, Air France is skyteam and flights are dog cheap to Paris.
Skyteam works fine in europe
