Amazon ICICI card lifetime free
Flipkart axis card Rs 500 annual but is worth the discounts you get and the way you get it. It's directly reduced from your billing amount, no points hassle
axis bank credit cards best for swiggy and bookmyshow kind of spends.
So far I have found icici Amazon pay credit card as best for. Monthly I get more 1000 as Amazon pay balance.
Try to get Axis Flipkart for lifetime free. I got it while they were offering and the reward rate is better and it will be directly adjusted in your balance. No need of redeeming
(moving the discussion here because I exited the referrals bowl)
1. New credit cards don't hurt your score. In fact a higher credit helps you reduce your overall utilisation, which helps improve your credit score. The problem happens when you have too many credit cards.
2. Credit cards in India are pretty shit all in all. The best is HDFC Infinia which is by invite only. HDFC Diners black used to be the best in rewards after Infinia but they have massively trimmed down the reward caps. Most of other bank cards are not as great (I already use ICICI, amex, RBL)
Finding the right card also depends on your use case - travel, online shopping, lifestyle spends. I can suggest a couple of cards if you can specify what your main use case will be.
Regarding "free" cards. I honestly don't think you should keep it as a criteria. Most cards are designed to be free if you spend a couple of lakhs throughout the year. If you're a regular user of credit cards, it shouldn't be a problem.
