Specially at experienced M/ SM level people get canned without prior notice. And now that Deloitte has asked staff to find work for 45 hours every week it's going to get more and more challenging on mid senior level as well.How are you guys preparing for the rainy day?

Joining Deloitte. I just submitted my documents to immigration. How long will it take to file my H1B case with USCIS? It’s wired big company like Deloitte is using third party law firm for H1B transfers.

I spoke with a recruiter recently about a position in her company and before we even began talking about the job, she asked if I needed an sponsorship, I told her no, I dont need one. But she continued to press on the subject until I had to tell her I was a US citizen. I dont know why, but the whole conversation made me extremely uncomfortable. So my question is, can recruiters ask you about your visa/immigration status even when I told her I didnt need a sponsorship??

2. Do I need to wait for approval notice physical copy to be received or can I put my 2 week notice?
