I need to choose amongst them. I need to understand, given 1year & 8 month of work experience

- how much KPMG India/Global offers to professionals like me ?

- how is the work pressure & work life balance ?

- Any suggestions which to chose from these 3 ?

About to begin the recruitment process for BCG and am coming in from EY where I’m currently a manager. I have pretty good work life balance: 8 am to 7 pm and on fridays, I can sign off at 3 pm. People are great at EY but I know the work could be more interesting at BCG and also greater pay. Currently making $150k. Should I just stay put? What are the big draws of moving to BCG? I hear it’s crazy hours too…

Should I take more initiative? It’s my stub year and I’m getting worried. My hours have been super low the past two months, I’m talking like maybe billing 3-4 hours a day and billing no hours on multiple days. I ask for work but the tasks I get don’t require a lot of time. Should I be reaching out more?

About to finish my first year. I’m a specialist. Only going to hit 65% of my hours (took a 4 week vacation cause of wedding/hm).

I never say no to work and i have fantastic reviews, and the head of my practice (with whom I work a lot for) has great things to say about me.

I’ve been fully utilized starting ~June, but first few months were slow. Am i fine?!

I am joining EY GDS next month. I have heard a lot about hectic work hours in EY and no work life balance. Is it true? If yes, how many hrs working should we expect in a day to be mentally prepared.

How is WLB at a MM fund different from a MF? I’ve heard MF are worse on average, but what makes it worse? Is it just the hours, or is the work also significantly different?

Hey guys I have offer from cisco system and checkpoint cyber security . Checkpoint is offering x+5 in base where as cisco is offering similar amount in joining bonus. Overall per year ctc is also differs by 3 lac (y+3) in checkpoint .

So considering recession and mass layoff which one will be right option to select in terms wlb, job security and future growth .

FYI : checkpoint is starting r&d division in India I will be first person to be hired for the same role.

Am I the only one left at the end of the month trying to bill 10hour days to meet hours because I slacked off at the beginning of the month? It’s a vicious cycle. Then the end of the month hits and I’m so exhausted that I need to take it was the next week... and the cycle continues

So, this is a little awkward, but I recently moved to SD for a fresh start, and honestly, I love this city. We flew back from Ireland today on Delta. Our connecting flight from JFK at 6:10 was cancelled while we were flying over the Atlantic Ocean, and we were rebooked on a 3:40 instead (2.5 hours earlier) but not notified. I received no email, text or app notification of the flight cancellation or the new flight we were placed on, so we missed it. For staff/seniors in public accounting. Would you rather be paid 1 1/2 for your tax season overtime hours or would you prefer to wait for a big fat bonus check at the end of the company year?
