Recently joined a consulting firm and have a corporate AmEx now. I am planning on paying the $95 fee to get the points from corporate expenses. I also have only a chase sapphire preferred. Is it worth picking up a Gold or Platinum card to pool all the points in one place? I eat out a lot and mostly redeem points for statement credit or the occasiaonl hotel room (use Marriott). Don’t do a ton of personal flying. Thanks in advance.

I have the Star alliance Gold status. I have international travel coming up through Turkish airlines. Can someone tell me how much excess baggage ( check in ) will I be allowed if I have Star alliance Gold status? I tried calling Turkish twice and both times I got different responses. Their website doesn’t really specify anything. Turkish’s Elite status is equivalent to Star alliance gold and allows 20kg additional/ 1 extra bag. Can someone please confirm? Thank you in advance!

Does anyone else experience delusions of grandeur? Is this a big law or attorney thing? Some days I find myself fantasizing about becoming obscenely wealthy due to some creative talent or passion of mine that I’ve yet to commercially tap. Not sure what the best path forward is but just got out of a week of in person meetings- did not want to go but was told that it would be a bad look to not go (I operate somewhat outside of my business group) by my mgr and mgr said it was important for us to meet for us to feel more comfortable working together.
