McKinsey & Company Hey folks!
Was wondering what sort of life sciences projects does usually the Boston Consulting Group and McKinsey & Company take on?
Commercial, access and pricing, M&A, transformation, implementation? (all of them perhaps?)
Basically, what would someone with an LS background be mainly working on in these firms on a day-to-day basis?
Thanks!
Happy Wednesday y’all

Just get your shirts tailored/adjusted (it’s what I do). Given your build, it’s unlikely anything off the rack will fit perfectly.
Who do you use?

Proper Cloth is the correct answer. It’s not cheap but it’s the best I’ve found short of true bespoke. Find a shirt that fits you reasonably well, measure it, and do trial and error until you have basically a perfect size.
While I can’t specifically recommend Proper Cloth, I completely agree that going custom is the right call here. While there will be an off-the-rack shirtmaker that fits you well, it’s going to take a lot of trial and error to find one, and even when you do, the fit won’t be perfect. Custom shirts have gotten more accessible and affordable over the years. It will take a little bit of time to wait for your shirts to get made, and then to perfect your fit, but once you do, you’re good to go.
Try French or Italian brands which tend to run slimmer. Octobre is a good French brand. Bonobos has slim fitting shirts too.
Personally I like the slim cut from Brooks Brothers. I used to get the slim cut from Tie Bar - it’s a bit slimmer, but I didn’t like how the fabric wore after some time

I think most guys who have nice shirts just have the inverted triangle body so everything naturally looks good on them (I feel like all US shirts are designed for that build). The rest of us just have to deal with it. 😭
Make sure to buy shirts that are measured by neck size and length. Off the rack shirts in size M/L will always look massive and out of proportion.
I’m 6’4”, 165lbs and learning to buy shirts that fit was a revelation.
Also, a tip is that your dress shirt chest size should be 4-6 inches more than your suit size. So if you’re a 40 suit, your shirt chest size should be 44-46 diameter (or 22-23 across). Most brands have size charts.

Banana has been 🔥 ever since the rebrand
I’m the same size and was searching for recommendations too. I tried state and liberty but did not like the fits.
Brooks Brothers milano fit runs pretty slim. If you want even slimmer (probably too slim), Kamakura shirts is great.

Buttercloth slim fit shirts are amazing.
