Hello Fishes,
I had given interview Mindtree and cleared both technical rounds. On Tuesday 29 March 2022, I got a call from HR for the final discussion. After that I have not received any response.
I have been calling the HR and her manager, both are not responding to mail or calls.
Is there a way to get some information if my candidature is still in progress or is this delay natural? I have another offer from another company, but am more interested in joining Mindtree.

Hello!
I finished my final round(s) for a TAM position at Google (GCP) last week and was told by my recruiter that my feedback was great and that I made a solid impression on the team and am "firmly in the running". I was supposed to hear back this week (according to the recruiter) but he just told me that it's still in the process and that I'll have to wait for another week or so.
Is this common at Google ? I have heard they are notorious for being really slow with their hiring process.
Unpopular opinion: the latest changes to H1B visa program are acceptable and ultimately serve a good purpose in the long run.

“Feeling ready” is a myth
Yup. There’s always more you can do, so you’ll never feel ready. Imo a better measure is whether you feel somewhat prepared / not completely fucked (if you do feel completely fucked then you should probably find a way to postpone).
Yes I felt slightly ready but was still nervous. I come from a non-MBA background so to me this meant I needed a lot of practice. About 4 months and 100 cases. Don’t underestimate the PEI. What role are you interviewing for?
Thanks. Interviewing for associate role
Remember, case interviews aren't designed to have a single answer and you either pass or fail. It's designed to understand how you analyze information and ideate to see if you have qualities we can coach and develop further. Come in believing in everything you e accomplished, you made it this far so it is without question, and you will do fine.
The problem isn't the interview, it's an educational system designed around testing, curves and grades which is misaligned with professional environments.

I’m so glad Deloitte was tagged lol. I hate it when we are
Yes
Thanks all. Did anyone have a 100% pass rate on their practices (ie all case prep partners said you would pass) going into interviews?
I’m having something like 80% say I would pass the first round and 20% are not.
I’m starting to think that no matter how many cases I do, some people will still say during practices that they won’t pass me even if most do.
Did others have this experience?
Did anyone get mostly positive but some OK or mixed feedback from case practice partners in the weeks before the interviews and still pass them?
I got mostly good feedback except from 1 partner who went on for literally 20 minutes about everything I did wrong. He was sure he knew everything about getting into MBB, to the point where he only applied to McKinsey. I looked him up on LinkedIn recently - doesn’t look like he got in since he isn’t working in consulting.
So, that is to say, YMMV and the opinion of random people who haven’t worked at the firms you’re interviewing at isn’t necessarily correct.
