Heads up- Google takes 6weeks to 3 months from recruiter reach out to offer.
It’s realistically 2-6 months

Full steam ahead with everything
Thanks, that’s what I’m leaning towards as well. I feel like SM offers aren’t a dime a dozen.

I strongly disagree with a lot of the advice here. Usually if you tell the recruiter you have a competing offer, they will expedite the process. If you interview well, they will throw the kitchen sink at you compensation wise.

Coming from someone with a relative at G, you absolutely want to make that happen no matter the cost / how many obstacles you have to overcome right now. B4 will still need people in 3-4 months.
I agree with this

I need to get my LinkedIn to look like something google would find.

Go for it. You haven't landed the SM offer yet, nor have you even passed the Google phone screen. Proceed until you conclude both processes with either an offer, rejection or withdrawal.
bird in a hand...
Keep us posted how this plays out OP
Will do!
Congrats! Which role did they reach out to you about?
They reached out to me last week for an accounting operations role, but I'm currently working as a business analyst and enjoying it. Tough work
Google will take min. 2 months even if they expedite. Saying this from experience..wish you good luck!
Are you currently a manager now? How many years of experience

What comp are you expecting from big 4?
Be clear that another opportunity has come up. They’ll understand that you’re not an easy win and possible up their game (good time to do so as you’re negotiating). Then inform them of expected timelines - my guess is that they will probably wait.
