When this group started, it was a dream of mine to meet you while enjoying a drink or a meal and build a community of people who enjoy the city and wanted to explore its food. It’s surreal to think that we have been in lockdown for this long. I know many restaurants may be struggling and if you have a favorite, a local gem, please share with us.

I've been working as a host for an expensive restaurant for a year. Considering how much a dish costs here, I don't understand why we can't be paid well instead of having to rely on tips to survive.

I love my SO but get unsure....they just went on a friends trip and came back and randomly said going on another one in two weeks. Pretty sure the saga of the slave driven company has come to an end I’m the only HR person at this company. Friday I had full admin rights, and went to check email Saturday; account locked. Payroll/HRIS locked out. PEO service says no pending termination is on my file. Went to the office today to get my things just in case. Located in CA. Was about to report numerous violations too. All because I couldn’t solve 8 months of payroll issues in a day. 🫠 Good riddance, I’m getting a lawyer.
