CDD > ODD > FDD
How do i break info cdd or odd from fdd
If you’re looking for absolutely the most pay, it’s RX. If you’re looking for most exit options it’s CDD.
ODD is behind those two and FDD is a long way back - it’s more accounting and fp&a focused.
Yeah - at worst, Rx pays the same as CDD. At best, at A&M and a few other boutiques, their pay can be substantially more, like Senior Associates clearing 350-400.
Rx exit opportunities are more limited though. Junior people tend to leave to IB quite frequently, but after a while, it’s really hard to leave Rx without taking a significant step back in compensation.
CDD shops also tend to hire and place better amongst top educational institutions - which can be useful in certain situations. Rx doesn’t care what your credentials are, it’s what you can do and what your deal experience is.
I would think RX pays the most but you also work a lot. I am in FDD and have a decent balance of pay vs work. Can’t speak too much on CDD or ODD.
What is rx?

What would an ODD exit opp look like?
Anything more fulfilling and doesn’t involve me selling my soul to create value?
RX consultants work insane hours… but they do get paid
Honestly only at A&M (I recruited at several firms)
