I interviewed with Firm A months ago and accepted a position to start this upcoming fall. Group leader called me to offer the position back in November 2020. Besides interviewing with partners at the firms, and diligent follow ups notifying them of my interest to get started, no communication has transpired since. It turns out that I accepted a better offer w/ Firm B for personal reasons and won’t be going to Firm A. What is the best way to notify Firm A? Call/email group leader? Call/email HR?
Hello All, I have been selected in the interview at NTT DATA and also submitted documents as requested by Recruiting HR. However , it's been a 10 days after docs submission but haven't received any call from HR for salary negotiation. On email follow up with HR, he said he is on it and will come back to me soon for further process. Any views.NTT DATA

Thanksgiving - christmas is dead time for jobs. Just wait until January
Has anyone else been experiencing similar? I have even been tweaking my resume/cl and tailoring it to the positions I apply.
Looking forward to feedback. Thanks

A lot of companies are waiting for 23 budget to decide on hiring, at least my company needs to hire 2 more but they want to wait until after bonus discussion to add headcount.

You can apply now, I am sure HR will keep tabs on applications that has all the key words 😆
Unfortunately, it's just a sign of the current market. Don't give up - keep applying. In the meantime, feel free to share your resume here for more feedback. That might help as well!
Can you post your resume here? It could be that you need to make some changes to your resume to help you get noticed. Sometimes having your resume professionally optimized is all it takes to get your resume noticed.
It may be because of the current employment situation or because the year is about to end and most employers are holding everything until the new year arrives.
Hi there, OP! I think a resume tailored to the very role you're applying to would really help you land one. I was also struggling a year ago until I thought of tailoring 3 different resumes that I can use for 3 different types of jobs I'm aiming to apply for.
Happened to me too, sent around 50 apps over summer, heard from 2 places and that took a month, to this day I still get reject notification from some I applied
I think you should start tailoring your resume to the role you are applying for. I get that you want to explore. But it is important to land a job first then the exploration will naturally follow.
