Passed all the interview stages to be a Senior Consultant at Deloitte in October (Major Programmes) but was told to wait as they weren’t able to hire anyone yet. They call me every few weeks saying there’s no update but want to show they’re ‘still interested’ and are hoping by June they can start making offers. Anyone else in a similar position?

I'm nearing the end of an interview for process for a job I'm meh on and recently began the process for my dream job. I'm slightly underqualified for the dream job but it's at a startup in a category I'm extremely passionate for. Should I let them know I'm nearing the end at another place?

Few tips for looking at exits:

1) Referrals are a huge tool for getting your foot in the door. At Facebook it guarantees that atleast your resume is given more than a glance.

2) A well constructed story/resume can offset any weak points in your experience

l interviewed for Deloitte (India not USI) in January, and accepted an offer letter with DOJ of 25th April, later HR asked me to join on 11th April for which I agreed. Now I haven't received the revised offer letter or any links other than BGV and Pre-Hire form from Deloitte and now the HR is not even picking my calls or responding to emails.

My joining date is coming closer, however education background checks are still processing ( international degrees) . My onboarding coordinator told me that I can still join even if education check is still in progress, provided there wont be any flags. I don’t see any issue with my degrees and have done same with my past companies.
