Is April month salary slip generated in FIS Global ??? Mine is not showing, when it will generate?
I doubt they didn't give me quarterly variable , I joined in mid February and even salary came less than previous month.
Did they deduct tax in April month salary of it is then fine because they didn't tax in March month .
Kindly comments if anyone have idea .
Thanks

Hi fishes,
I am planning a switch so was going through some salary data for a software engineer. My ex-senior manager recommended me a website: Growceed.com which helped me a lot in getting clarification about a lot of things but I am in doubt whether the average salaries of software engineer mentioned on Growceed.com really that much in top MNC companies.

There are so many factors. Are you truly underpaid? How are you positioned for promo? Do you like your leadership? Do you like the work? Moving from 1 big4 to another carries sole baggage and it will likely slow progression. The bump you get has to be measured against the long term. If you are planning to stay through partner the NPV likely isn’t worth it if you have a path. Salary progression stacks the longer you stay so a move for quick money can hurt you. If the only reason to leave is for cash have a conversation with leadership to see if you have options.
I have a similar school of thought as P1... if you are looking at your work as a job, then take the money and run. If you are thinking about your career, you should actually think about it. At Deloitte you'll have to rebuild your reputation (unless it's not that good at EY). You'll likely be retained a year from promotion (unless, again, you're not performing so well at EY, but then in that case you should go to Deloitte anyway lol). There are many other factors to determine if you should stay or go... I actually moved from Deloitte to EY and I'm much happier here. Also compared to the class I started with at Deloitte, my salary has gone up much more than theirs and my promotions occurred much faster. I left Deloitte for EY and haven't regretted it for a second.
ya I would not be down to pay for lunch either
I definitely love EY, but I get paid 20k under as I have joined right after college.
Same here! I definitely love the culture and the people and I can swear they aren’t going to be better in other places-but can’t stop thinking I’m underpaid!
You probably are underpaid if you've been at the firm a while. Market is going nuts. But, I would take a 50k pay cut to have good people around me. My work is decent. The people I work with are so abusive and terrible. Physically and emotionally abusive. I'd give anything to have people who actually care about me. I left a better work environment at my last company. I really really miss people there. You dont know the darkness in a practice until you join it. Get an offer from another firm and negotiate. EY and Deloitte need to correct salaries to market rates.
