Hello - hope everyone is having a great weekend. I'm looking into risk assurance opportunities at Meta, especially Application Manager, Controls (min 5 YOE) and Manager, Compliance (min 12 YOE). I am a Senior Manager with 9 years of IT risks assurance experience. Does anyone have any thought on which position I should apply? If anyone currently at Meta could share your experience, that would also help. If anyone is open to providing referrals, I could provide my background. Facebook (Meta)

Why not? CISA is not a hard exam to pass, minimum time investment. Literally just need to study couple weeks off the ISACA database questions and u can pass it no problem. Can be a good backup plan if your new track doesn’t pan out
Assuming your transfer is going to happen, I would say it’s not worth the time investment. Use the time to build capabilities using the more advanced features in Excel, R, Alteryx, Power BI and Tableau. Meanwhile, continue to meet and exceed expectations in IA to improve sponsorship and support of your transfer.
If you want to do analytics go do analytics now. Waiting is a waste of time
Only reason to take the CISA is for the bonus or if you need it for promotion.

CISA is great to meet minimum promotion requirements if needed. If not needed for promotion, don’t bother
