I am looking for a perm, remote HR generalist or program manager position and getting no traction despite a well-reviewed resume. What do I do? Should I go to grad school?

Differences in FDD at accounting firms (big 4, rsm, GT, etc) vs non-accounting firms (HL, A&M, FTI)?

Even though clients are happy with my work i feel they don't understand design much and i always feel there is a gap in my learning as there is no one to critique my work in design perspective. What is work-life balance like in big tech legal? I’m currently in house at a large multinational; I like my job and I get paid fine, with a very good WLB (40-45 hrs). I want to look into FAANG-type opportunities as they would mean a huge pay bump, and I think I’m qualified, but I have no idea about the hours, and I don’t want to substantially give up WLB, as that’s why I left BigLaw. I don’t want to be miserable again. I know Amazon is poorly reputed for lawyer WLB… what about other places?

Hey all. I have an interview with an investment bank coming up. I am currently a senior associate at big 4 doing financial due diligence. Can anyone give me interviews tips/what to study? I am very new to the diligence (less than 3 months), so am far from understanding a deal start to finish.

FDD 🐠 I will be promoted to audit SM in October, however looking to transfer to the FDD practice. Based on discussions with partners in the practice, I would be brought in as an experienced manager with opportunity to promote to senior manager in FDD next year. Is the learning curve steep, or should I push to come in as SM? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
