Nice bowl to avoid lowering the average in the US-centric threads. Anybody else finding that with the lack of pay rises this year, it’s become even harder to benchmark? Had a few recruiters recently suggesting I’d get 25% more by moving to a competitor but no telling whether that’s a short term-gain for a longer term hit.

Chased recruiter a few times only to receive a reply that its pending partner approval. Passed up a better offer in favour of getting into consulting and have another offer which I cannot afford to lose. Passed up offer 85k FNZ SC, current offer £80K Barclays VP, Deloitte -70k+6.7.
