Please comment photos of your home office or WFH setup!

I’m finally getting my own room to convert to a home office, but I’m sick of looking at unrealistic online photos for ideas. Don’t care if your space is organized or messy or whatever, I just need practical inspiration!

Still working from my kitchen island - verrrrry jealous of those with a real home office.

I actually had a better setup before the pandemic - I lost my office to a baby nursery. Now I have a folding table in the basement. I’m here for efficiency ideas.

Moved in to the new house right as quarantine started and my wife and I built the wall unit and added the beams. I work from home full time anyway so the office was a priority.

This is gorgeous!!! 😍 I have an open space (formal living room) I’ll like to do the same to. It seems like such a massive diy, how did you even know how to begin???!

Soooo you want to see my dining room table? Following for the inspo.

Crate and barrel! It’s from their Pilsen collection (the desk and shelf). Comes in other sizes and colors, too. And the price was great compared to others we were looking at. Relatively easy assembly.

My laptop docks to these screens and the ones at my firm office, so I never have transfer files (also have remote access to my server). I put the teddy bear in the chair as a pretend client at my loneliest 😂 Desk is from Walmart (online), chair is from amazon, screens were the most expensive of the set up from office max. But worth it, IMO

I especially like the comment about the teddy. I did the same with a stuffed rabbit to be my “office mate” 😂😅

“Office” on end wall of LR. Ladder bookcases from CB2 and desk from Overstock. Desk is a little narrower than I’d like but I wanted to keep the office area compact and distinct from LR. Work laptop and Lenovo portable monitor. Chair borrowed from nearby dining area. Still need a solution to neaten cords!

In our extra bedroom - cheap desktop and drawer riser on top from ikea, cheap drawer sets on bottom from Amazon, PVC pipe legs from Formufit, laptop from work, Asus portable monitor being held up by a stand meant for an ipad. Cheap dining room chair from Fred Meyer, but it’s comfortable. 😄 Functional without being too spendy

Converted dining area. IKEA desk, storage shelf & chair (very comfy). Plastic cube storage from Amazon. Using old side table as printer stand. Stole lamp from son’s room. Amazon filing cabinet & organizers. Not snazzy but it’s functional.

Did I just do a mistake by quoting too high a number? Please let me know your opinions.

Is this reasonable? I'm dead-set on leaving my current job, and this would be a $20k pay increase - which makes me believe I'm leaning towards taking it for those reasons only.
