I have some good ex colleagues who moved over there and also looked up on LinkedIn and see lots of seemingly smart and accomplished people in their D&A team in the UK.
I'll ask my ex colleagues too, but wanted to see if people here have any opinion or information on this too.
TIA

Depends what you’re looking for. For me, I was looking to grow my career, make connections, and figure out what line of work. Deloitte was good for that since I was able to leverage the number one talent experience, but I’m sure KPMG is better elsewhere
No fitness subsidy, we have 20 days PTO + 2 full holiday weeks (Dec and July), can expense virtual OT meals for now, alt travel is allowed with engagement leadership sign off, additional $ available depending on your level (ie staff get quarterly $ rewards in lieu of fitness subsidies), good family and disability leave, sabbatical options, etc.
I recently accepted an offer to switch to KPMG and I believe KPMG does offer reimbursements for up to $1200 per year and with no more than $300 per quarter for fitness related expenses. At least that's what my recruiter told me haha.
Kpmg comes with free social media roasts
We get ice cream and movie tickets as incentive comp. Factor that into your evaluation, it may be what drives your decision.
Don’t forget cheap water bottles and life saver candies

Honestly they are very similar. Deloitte may have some that are better, and KPMG may have others that are better. Maybe narrow down the Q to the ones which are most important to you.

Correct
I think it depends on what talent model you sit in, but D has Deloitte University for training (when we aren’t in a pandemic), the $500 well-being subsidy (even covers stuff like XBOX, PS, Switch, office furniture, etc.), 16 weeks of paid family leave for new parents or adult dependent caregivers, $50K adoption/surrogacy reimbursement, multiple EPO/PPO/HDHP insurance plans, legal insurance, tuition assistance, 2 sabbatical options, pension, 401k match (it’s meh), discounted rates for home, auto, pet insurance, 5 free EAP therapy sessions, week off between Christmas and New Year’s, leisure travel discounts, etc.
Thanks brotha/sista!
Medical benefits at KPMG seemed high to me compared to previous employer but don’t remember KPMG’s exact numbers
I agree. Used to work at D and got the good PPO plan for the same price as my high deductible at K.
Just based on personal experience and feeling: KPMG is the least H1B/immigration friendly among Big 4. Deloitte has issues here and there, but from visa/GC sponsorship perspective, I’m happy to be here.
