Hi Londoners ,
Moving in from outside UK.
Looking out for some areas in west / NW London where one can live with an infant on max 1400£ rental while requiring one partner to travel to Central occasionally for work and the other person 3 days a week to LHR.
Some Qns:
1) Will 1 Bedroom be too cramped for the infant to grow up? Should I raise budget?
2) I prefer being in family /childcare friendly areas. Had Harrow, Acton in mind . Are they good for my budget or any other suggestions?
TIA Deloitte @

Hello! I am looking for two new Texas teachers (0-5 years) who would be interested in participating in a study I am doing as a Doctoral Candidate at Baylor. The study looks to understand the experiences women working in the field of education have had that triggered shame and explore their resilience. If you are interested, click the link below to get started: bit.ly/ShameResilienceStudy

I have been Lifetime Platinum in SPG for several years. I avoided Marriott my entire career. All those years and all but about 69 of thesenights were in SPG.
If you didn’t get it as part of the original guidelines, you’ll get it early next year. Also, per my understanding, you’d have to hit it under the old guidelines with old accruals (i.e., SPG nights wouldn’t count to hit the 750 nights / 2M points threshold to qualify under the old Marriott rules).
Exactly that you needed to hit lifetime platinum on either Marriott or SPG, combined doesn’t get you it. I would chat them if that was the case.
Okay. Then you’d probably fall in the 750 nights / 10 years platinum bucket that gets you grandfathered in at the end of the year
Yep, why I was asking if anyone else is showing Lifetime Platinum Premier Elite now. Four months of earning 50% vs 75% bonus points makes me 😞 when I qualified for the >750 nights + 10 years Platinum over 2 years ago
My account is all messed up. Similar boat for me and I somehow lost 10 wualifying nights this year and 100k pts.
