I've been interviewing with some companies, and now I have to decide between JPMorgan Chase and Globant.
Globant is more innovative, and has remote work. I will enter to work with a Sillicon Valley startup based in San Francisco. The tech stack is React, Nextjs, AWS, and a serverless architecture.
JPM is semi remote, and less innovative. The tech stack Java, SpringBoot and AWS. But I'd do more migration tasks, like dockerize projects and pass them to kubernetes. What would you choose?

Hi Londoners ,
Moving in from outside UK.
Looking out for some areas in west / NW London where one can live with an infant on max 1400£ rental while requiring one partner to travel to Central occasionally for work and the other person 3 days a week to LHR.
Some Qns:
1) Will 1 Bedroom be too cramped for the infant to grow up? Should I raise budget?
2) I prefer being in family /childcare friendly areas. Had Harrow, Acton in mind . Are they good for my budget or any other suggestions?

A few Thursdays ago the cab line was a mile long just like in the pre-COVID days. Had to go train -> Lyft.

Which terminal? The old school pre Uber consultant trick is to walk to terminal 2, the cab line is always shorter there
Curb app superiority! Usually! 😂
How do you get it to work at ORD? It doesn’t allow me to set pickup there
This was also true in my experience getting somewhere from Union or Ogilvie stations. Cab was $30 for 3+ people, Uber was 65, was trying to head to a Northside beach.
I second this, I always take a cab. There was only one time the line was too long so I had to take a rideshare. I do have to warn though, I have unwillingly had a couple really weird conversations with cab drivers 😂
