"Professional Transparency" is an oxymoron.

Interesting, elaborate then. Or am I supposed to see that title you're swinging and accept your answer as gold?

Actually all businesses should be "professionally transparent".

We have some of the problems we have in various industries because that exact thing is missing.

Well, Planned-Obsolescence is an actual thing. Of many other things. And its almost industry standard. I think Canada has limitations on it, while the USA and other countries do not.

Its things like that (accepting very bad corporate laws) which makes the world and the products we use questionable. An unfortunate reality my friend.

Social media is draining me so I’m currently looking to hire a social media person who can both design flyers, shoot content, video edit and write great copy. I know these are all different skills but am I asking too much of one person 😅? Should I split up these roles? Happy to hear your thoughts or if anyone has found their unicorn 🎉

I don’t make 40x my rent. So I most likely would need a guarantor. What kind of documents do apt buildings usually ask from a guarantor?? I’m asking to know if I could ask a family member or if it will be too personal and they may not want to share such documents/info with me.

I'm 32 and looking to make a career change. Previously I've been in sales, sales QA and some analyst position. I want to transition into learning programming and decided the best roadmap for me would be to learn Salesforce, land an entry level admin job and develop my skills over time to transition into programming.

How realistic is it to go from no computer science degree, to getting Salesforce certs and an admin role?

Started at a big firm in July with high hopes- in the career path I wanted and I would be joining with other new grads.
After onboarding, it’s as if my team forgets about us every day. The training is non existent, there doesn’t seem to be any initiative to invest in new hires, my manager scolds me for not knowing enough yet gives no direction. I don’t want to waste time (colleagues mentioned it doesn’t get much better from here). Do I embrace the suck or look for other opportunities?
