Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP Thinking of making a lateral move into big law, but not major office like NYC or Chicago. Work at a mid size regional law firm in Hartford, but billing big law hours (210-240/month) and getting paid %50 of market. Granted I’m in hartford. Do any big law firms with Hartford branches get paid top market? Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP

Seeing as how publicis runs all of their agencies to the ground, I encourage your wife to take the time and start looking elsewhere. Sincerely, former person from agency that they acquired.

Exactly why I went client side after 20 years.

There is rarely bonuses at Publicis. Ever. It’s all talk for the most part. I’ve done 4 tours of duty around there in high levels. Even if it is stated in signing papers.

@SVP1 PS has bonuses every year built-in. Again depends on agency as each gets control over their own comp structures.

I’ve worked for Spark for over 2 years now. Our reviews are usually in April. I didn’t know to ask for a raise, based on my performance last year. IK, young and naive. This year, I knew to ask, but obviously couldn’t get traction, due to the pandemic. I wanted it in writing, but didn’t really happen, despite my emphasis. Grateful for the job security, but still frustrated. They froze raises last year. A lot of my friends ended up with more work for the same amount of money and left. The teams were stretched thinner and the burnout cycle continued. I’ve earned a promotion and a raise or two, but I’m stuck wondering if it’ll ever materialize, even if we make it to the other side of the pandemic. I’m not getting any younger....
Thanks for the input. Can’t believe that’s how it works at these agencies.

Depends on the agency. PS would be doing one in September but will be skipped this year.
She came in through the Epsilon acquisition. If they skip it this year, does that mean there won’t be a bonus or salary increase?
Chief
Then that’s going to be an Epsilon-specific question and depends on how well they are weathering this. Paris doesn’t release agency-specific numbers because of shareholder reporting requirements.
Seems like it’s not a straight forward thing and each agency functions a little differently. Do all agencies have the performance evaluation around the same time?
Thanks I’ll let her know.
