I currently work as intern in one of the big 4, now I got an opportunity In deloitte with a package of 7.6l lpa (6l fixed, 1l joining ,bonus & 60k variable) for the same job role. it is through cmpus placement & recruiting us as freshers. I do have another 3 yrs of experience but it was for other role. considering the experience that i have ,is there any chance for me to negotiate in the salary?

Has anyone left healthcare and is now really happy? I’m an MSN, RN with 12 years hospital experience. I’m burned out and tired of making crap pay. I have an opportunity outside of healthcare that would pay more and challenge me in new ways that I haven’t experienced before. It’s a total shift that would really heal my work-life balance, job satisfaction and budget. My only fear is that I would not be using the license and degree that I worked so hard for. I’m in my second year in a financial services vertical. Not sold on staying in this practice for the remainder of my career and would likely want to pivot to strategy. Will I have a hard time getting into that role with siloed experience in FS?

I’ve been proposed an exit as Product Owner at a real company, not a consulting one. Staff seems nice, good culture, good salary (less than consulting but well), BUT I would have to move countries for that job and start a new life.

I’ve also been proposed a Manager position at a consulting company in my home city, with potential of bigger salary thanks to bonuses. Culture seems good... But I’m sure it’s gonna be a hell lot of work.

Which one would you take? Should I exit and never look back?

Plan to go to B-school in 3 years (1 year out of UG now). Long term goal is entrepreneurship. Have offers at a MBB firm for a generalist consultant role and at FAANG for a strategy role. FAANG offer is slightly higher (though both are a 50+% bump on my current comp). Both would have me reset to entry level. Which one should I take?

I've become really jaded about consulting. I find all so often you need to tell the client what they want to hear to keep their business and I feel like so much of the what I recommend doesn't actually get implemented. I'm looking to make a career switch so I can both create and execute on my strategies. A product management path seems very promising for this.
