Cobra about 1200 $ a month

I'm not sure, but when I left EY it was $400/month. It was worth it for me because I had met all deductibles for that year and I went to my shrink weekly, but with new fiscal year, I doubt PwC cobra is worth it. With Obama Care, you should be able to find a good alternate.

Your 401k is Ur money it's not running away .... Take your time

You have 60 days from your last day at the firm to make a decision about your 401k

Hi everyone, I need some help/advice.
My bf is English, he came for me in France but struggle to find a job. He used to be an admin officer. At the end of 2019, he went to a tech boot camp to follow an intensive course to become a full stack developer.
The big issue is that he finished his course in January but still struggle to find a job. He is open to remote job but still, can't find anything.
Will you have any tip or advice to help him, the situation is affecting his mental health. Thx

Asking for a friend..."We had to fire someone last Friday under 40 who is not under any protected class. We offered him a two weeks severance pay and gave him till end of tonight to accept or decline the offer on a written contract. He hasn't accepted the offer or declined it and also he hasn’t sent our equipment back. The question is - can I ask him about the status of the contract? Can I ask him about the status of our equipment?"

It feels like a lot of people resent their firms right now for lack of raises, over scheduling, or transparency issues like “performance based terminations” at PWC. I’m really curious what employees in public accounting think of organized labor.

Do you think it will ever be possible or realistic for public employees to unionize? What would be the benefits? What would be the negatives or potential unintended consequences? Embrace debate

Looking for advice on Roth IRA:

Just realized that I have $15k in a Roth IRA that I’d forgotten about. Unfortunately, I’m now over the income limit for contribution. I’d prefer to keep this account as I like the flexibility I have and realized that this has made more gains than my 401k (%-wise).

What would you do in this situation? Keep the account and just keep investing with what’s there? Roll over to a traditional IRA? Use the back door Roth strategy knowing that may become illegal soon?
