Question for my elder ad folk. What were the feelings back when agencies were being acquired by big holding companies? Were employees against it and was there resentment towards the agencies for offering themselves up to be swallowed by the holding company beasts? Was there any talk about certain depts unionizing back then?

Genuinely curious since I’ve been thinking about how my Boomer/Gen X coworkers used to talk about the “good old days” before the holding companies came into play.

Now I have received another offer from a fintech organization in Berlin, Germany who are providing me 69k Euros as base salary + 5k Euros as RSU and also an on call support of 5k Euros annually + complete relocation assistance package. My wife currently doesn't have any offer for Germany and might need to search for a job after reaching there. Is it worth? Need your suggestions please.

I'm reading this book on boundaries. In the work section it says I should tell my boss that I can't work after 5 PM. Knowing that advertising work commonly goes past 5 PM...would my job be in danger if I said that?
