JPMorgan Chase recently introduced a policy change to increase the notice period to 60 days. I'm a 602 and resigned recently and yet my LWD is showing up as 30 days from now. Anyone recently resigned can confirm if they are facing the same or new policy is in effect. This is causing confusion with the next companies I'm interviewing with.

First and foremost: Demonstrated problem solving skills. Quantifiable, results-oriented work or extracurricular experience and/or knowledge of technical systems (ERP, MES, etc).
Think: “did this, that resulted in this outcome” but not in a way that is vague or bullshitty
True leadership experience (not just a participant), coursework that demonstrates a needed skill (we look at transcripts)
Cover letter that shows you’re personable and fit the Deloitte “culture” - the desire to work here for xyz reasons
Realistically, it is hard even from campus to get a tech job here without tech related or tech adjacent experience
Thank you so much. I’ll share this with him.
Continued: I hooked him up with a resume template that had tips but his resume came out worse than before (2 weak bullet points for each job, no skills highlighted, and no school activities.) I know a lot of campus hires have no professional experience so what are their resumes looking like that still get them interviews. I’d really like to help this kid out.
Thank you! I’ll talk to him about that option.

Typical candidates that I’ve hired fresh out of college have 1 internship and a part time job. They usually also have some irrelevant stuff like hobbies or whatever, but my 3 boxes to check are: 1 internship, 1 part time job during college, 1 college degree. That’s it, the rest of it is based on personality in the interview, you really can’t expect more from a fresh grad
Thank you! This didn’t even cross my mind.
Can I DM you about the bootcamp please?
Of course
Many colleges has career centers that students can use for up to a year after they graduate. They help with resumes, interview prep, etc. That might be another option.
Some of the things I recommend highlighting are internships/work experience, GPA, relevant course work (especially with coding/programming if it isn’t obvious from the work experience), honors and scholarships, study abroad experience, leadership roles in campus clubs or sport teams, and strong, impactful statements throughout. An error-free resume is important to me, and I don’t care about your high school accolades or your SAT scores.
Bless you!
