Hi all,
I have a offer from Perficient and joining in 2 months time. Question :
1: how is the company in terms of job security and projects? I work with web analytics
2: How is the hike and work life balance.
3: Attrition rate
4: Hike is good but will it be a safer vet like Accenture Operations?
Need some views from people working there.
Thanks in advance.

What’s “low value” in this context? If all 120 cases settle for $5k that’s $10k for you. If they all settle for $30k that’s $60k for you, putting you comp at $210k (not including bonuses). On the plaintiff side, you have a much easier time originating business, so your earnings are uncapped if you’re a sociable, hungry person. Far more upside on the Pl side even if it’s a small loss in the short term on base salary
I mean, I won’t be settling 120 cases a year. It’s a lot of low value motor vehicle accidents, with some decent premises/labor law cases sprinkled in. Heavy client contact expected
I do ID now and would take the second. I hate tracking time though
Salary and hours aren’t bad for ID. How many years experience?
Doubtful unless I would be able to bring in a client
I’ve been on both sides evenly. I went defense, plaintiff, defense, now I’m back on plaintiff side. I can tell you that if you know how to artfully bill, capture your time, your defense job could feel like part time. Also, you’re usually not required to come into the office five days a week, like on plaintiff’s side, as long as you meet your hours. Also, the 1850 is a pretty reasonable hourly requirement for that salary in ID. Plaintiff side, you have potential to make more, if you have an origination percentage of cases you bring in. You likely won’t make much more if you’re only at 5% of 120 low value cases.
Agree 100% here having also done both. I prefer defense because (at least for me) it has provided a better work/life balance, but it depends on what works for you.
ID This coming from a plaintiffs lawyer who worked a similar job to what you're describing.
ID construction is such easy billing! Not a bad gig.
I do PI and 120 cases would be insane. I love what I do but would not take this particular job. It sounds like you’re going to be handling nothing but garbage. Those 5% commissions are going to be next to nothing.
Yeah, about 40-50 in lit, rest in pre-lit
I’d say ID but I have a partner and family so the stable number’s more important to me.
