My company is moving but I need to stay in NYC for family reasons. I searched everywhere to find a similar culture to where I am now and I feel like I found that at Bloomberg. Right before Year-End I completed an interview for an HR Role but it’s been a standstill since. We left the call talking about the next phases of interviews so I was hopeful!

Would a referral help kick start this again?

Anyone work for USAA as a bi adjuster and doesn’t mind sharing there yoe and salary? I heard good things about them and am considering applying. I’m currently at 76k with my current company 8.5 yoe.

I messed up my interview with Millennium LLP for an entry level role and I feel nothing but dread right now. I believe it was my only opportunity at obtaining a high salary / profile job compared to my other options that only pay half as much. How can I accept the fact that I might not be able to start out as successful as I wanted to be? I believe it’s extremely difficult to jump between layers (E.G. Big 4 to MBB) later on in my career.

I just started at a big law firm last week. I know I’m capable but I keep messing up on simple tasks. I moved across the country for this job and at this point it feels like I’m self-sabotaging my position.
