Realistically, how hard is the ethics exam? How many hours did you study before you took it? Need a 90% or higher to get certified

Isnt it open book? I'll be talking it within the year but that's what everyone told me

Very easy, zero studying required

I took it hammered and got a 100%. I’m an ethical drunk, what can I say?

likefunny

And yes, open book.

I spent about 5 hours carefully reading and tabbing the text book by subject, then passed the test easily on the first time. I guess I could have just skipped to the test but that’s not really my personal style.

My old employer asked me if I wanted to come back to the company as a manager. The pay will likely be much better and the position holds more responsibility than I’ve had before, so overall it would be a step up. The issue is I left the company because of an abusive manager who constantly put me down and made me feel like I wasn’t doing anything right. If I come back I’d be working under her again. I’m torn because the opportunity is great but the stress was awful. Continued in comments…

Hi fishes,

This annual appraisal I have got a good % of appraisal increment on my salary but I was not promoted to a senior developer (although I have been mentoring a junior dev in my team and been part of building the project by implementing new technologies and tweaks) and my total YoE is 3.5+ years. What could be the reasons? What should I do now?

Thanks in advance!!

Thanks in advance
