Hi everyone!!! Last year I put together a list of classrooms to exchange valentines with! We mailed 1 valentine to each class and included a picture if we could, and a few things about where we live and things we do!
I currently have 13 classes signed up! The more the merrier!!
We have classes CA, WI, PA, KS, TX, RI, MI, Canada, New Zealand.
I have a form to fill out if you are interested! I will email everyone the list probably at the end of the week if not sooner!

Look a little further out if central london (acton, kentish town.. ect) and be close to a station that is on the line you can take straight to work.
You should be able to share for 7-800
Thank you, will have a look!
What have you been doing? Helps to know your search process (which sites, agents), what you are looking for and your budget
I would say i would ideally max at 850 inc bills. Have looked on spare room, but they seem to go straight away, or i lose the room to someone else putting down 6 months rent at a time! i do have some savings but I dont want to depleat them and have no emergency fund.
As someone who has just recently left her gap year (well gap 6 months lol) , I am only 21 so don't have too much savings as i havent been working full time that long!
Initially looked at SW but thinking now east may be a bit cheaper?
Spareroom website/app are specifically focused on finding rooms. You can also search flatmates instead of rooms and then look for flats together. Like another comment mentioned, try to look at areas a bit outside of central London.
Thank you! Any areas you know that I could specify in my search to look in?
My main thing is i just want a relatively safe area for women
I know quite a few people in SW and SE London who have had luck on less budget in a share home. You may have to compromise a few things but entirely doable - don’t give up hope!
If you look further out on the tube network you'll find something. It will just be a longer commute to the office.
Here is an example of something in East London in a nice area. https://www.spareroom.co.uk/flatshare/flatshare_detail.pl?flatshare_id=15949514&search_results=%2Fflatshare%2F%3Fsearch_id%3D1237514521%26mode%3Dlist%26editing%3D%26show_results%3Das%2Ba%2Bmap%26resume_last_search%3D1
You can make it on £28k, just have to live in zone 6 in a small room. As long as you have shelter and food, friends and family and your job isn’t too stressful, you have everything you need. I make £415k and my life probably isn’t much different than yours.
